Indianapolis, IN: What an amazing wedding day that we were able to spend with Katie and Dave! It was the kind of wedding day where we left feeling so blessed and loving our job. Katie and Dave’s family were so kind, loving and genuine. We haven’t really seen so much love between families like we saw with them. Katie is one of 8 children and on her side of the family, we photographed a 96 person family photo. And everyone in this photo was actually immediate family because her mother has so many brothers and sisters. This was a record for us! It was a FREEZING cold winter January day in Indiana for the wedding. And we don’t just mean it was chilly. It was in the teens with a windchill below zero! But Katie and Dave were up for doing outdoor photos (did we mention how much we love them?!)! We shot outside until we couldn’t feel our fingers, which was only about 5-10 mins at a time. And the 26 person bridal party were also troopers and braved the elements for us. The ceremony took place at St. Johns Catholic Church and the gorgeous reception at the Indiana Roof Ballroom. We had a chance to work with some of our favorite people and fabulous film makers, John and Jen Moon with Northernlight filmworks. Katie and Dave, you know how much we adore you both and we know you will have an amazing life together! Enjoy this post…it is a long one! =)
